Happy Friday friends, hope the week has been good to you!
I’ve been inspired by a few trends lately and usually i’m not one to jump on the bandwagon. My style is classy, not very complicated yet stylish, as i like to put it.
When it comes on to footwear, give me a pair of pumps and i’m out the door. However last season i found myself wearing a lot of strappy, gladiator typed heels and to be honest that wasn’t really my style. I suppose being the ‘fashion junkie’ that i am, i wanted to explore, and that’s quite ok, as i’ve learned what works and what doesn’t for me.
Back to my simple, statement footwear!
These black with clear straps, snake print mules are from Missguided. Simple, elegant and sexy! Mules are very on trend and i have to admit i absolutely love them. They add such a feminine touch to any outfit. You can find them in flats, chunky heels or stilettos.
You can never go wrong with a pop of colour in your closet. These are such a classy number! Pumps are and forever will be trendy. These gorgeous babes are from Newlook. They are quite comfortable as well, so i’m thinking of adding a few more to my ever growing shoe collection! A little white dress, or a pair of skinny jeans are just a few ways to show these off.
I was never a fan of the slides, i thought they were the most hideous looking slippers i’ve ever seen! What was i thinking? haha. They are super cute and perfect for running errands in without looking drab. The most popular are the ones with furs, however the bow on these adds a more girly look. Pair them with your favourite denim shorts and a t shirt for a casual nicely put together look. These are from Missguided.
I’ve showcased a few more of my favourites on my channel, so feel free to stop by. Thank you.
One of the best things about living in the Caribbean is that you never have to worry about the weather getting too cold, so i take full advantage, by wearing my gorgeous heels or any footwear with my toes out. Don’t get me wrong, i also enjoy wearing boots but it just wouldn’t be suitable in the hot weather, even though we still do haha.
I’m a shoe o holic so my collection is quite colossal, however i’m working on downsizing a bit. In the meantime, i just wanted to share some of my favourites at the moment.
These blue, multi strapped, minimalist ones with gold heels are from Asos, i picked them up a while ago. Perfect height and the colour is stunning. Pair them with a black or white dress.
Comfortable is just one word to describe these laser cut heels which are from Missguided, they are different to your regular black pumps or minimal heels. These add a bit of pizazz to your outfit, because of their stylish, intricate detail, the tassels on the zippers at the back adds a nice touch!
Now i call these the head turner! Colourful, sexy, classy, and oh so beautiful are just some of the words to describe these heels. Betsey Johnson is the brand and i got them from TK Maxx. I’m in awe of them, i’ve received numerous compliments on how pretty they are, i think they are the perfect pair of heels for the islands. I especially love the pom poms on the front, playful and girly.
There are a couple more so if you’d like to see them, click on the video and have a watch. Hope you enjoy, do let me know which you liked. Thanks for indulging me.
I love this time of the year when i get to dress up in my warmer, stylish attire, bring on the jumpers, jackets, boots and darker colours. Fall is here and i’m ready! I’ve put together a look book, which are pretty much ideas of what you can wear for this season. Outfits that will keep you warm and fabulous on colder days.
For this look, i went for a blue flannel button down shirt, that has splits at the sides and stops just above the knees, very soft and comfortable material. The jeans are distressed at the knees, not overly done, that’s what i liked about it. These patent boots are trendy and ties the whole outfit together. This look is perfect for running errands or just an afternoon out.

This is my meet up with the girls look. The sweater top i’m wearing says unavailable, which basically sums up my life haha. The theme here is obviously all black which is always a popular shade for the Fall season. Keeping the top warm but still showing some skin, i went for this eyelet detail mini skirt, paired with the patent boots.
Bag- Paris Hilton
Earrings- New Look
Chocker necklace- Select
Sweater top- H&M
All set for dinner with that special someone, in this body hugging, long sleeved striped dress, which has two openings at the top of the shoulders. How gorgeous is this piece? Great quality material and well made. This dress will keep you warm on a cold night. For my footwear i went for these peep toe stiletto booties, which are comfortable, stunning and suits the dress perfectly, a match made in heaven!

There’s something calming and pure about white. It is said to symbolise new beginnings, it is reflective and stimulates openness, growth and creativity. It offers a sense of peace and tranquility, comfort and hope.
I especially like white because it’s neutral and you can pair it with any other colour you choose and it also gives that very fresh clean look! It’s not the easiest colour to maintain, so extra care has to be exercised .
Let me break down my outfit for you;
Top- which has a choker neck detail and also a bodysuit is from Missguided, very comfortable material, easy to wear and stylish.
Skirt- Has laced detail on one side, quite soft material, is also from Missguided. Not too short, so it’s perfect for days when you fancy showing a bit of leg!
Sandals- Gladiator style, with studs all over, these are designed to make a simple outfit look more glam. They are about 3 or 4 inches high. Easy to walk about in as they are blocked heels. These are also from Missguided.
Purse- Tk maxx
Arm cuff- New Look
Hoop earrings- New Look
Hope you get some inspiration from this look.

I always look forward to going to Goodwood, the amazing atmosphere, people dressed in their finery and of course the odd betting on horses is such a wonderful experience.
So we were invited by a friend to be in the owners and trainers area (the posh bit), this is where you get to see the horses before they go out to the track and you also get to meet very interesting people.
Now being in that enclosure, of course there was a wide selection of drinks and also nibbles, so a glass of their finest white wine was the drink of my choice. Whilst i sipped on my wine, i watched the horses parade around the paddock and also joined in on a few conversations.
Time to get down to business, and that’s the betting. I am a novice when it comes to horse racing, but it’s fun. There was a kind gentleman who we met that told us to put some money on a particular horse, so we did. We rushed down to the track to watch the horse in action only to be disappointed. The horse fell in the starting stall and didn’t get a chance to run! Great just our luck, here i am thinking we’ve lost our money. Thankfully we didn’t, as they refunded everyone who had placed a bet on this horse. To be honest it was hilarious. That didn’t deter us, we placed a couple more bets and lost but it was the thrill of doing it.
To sum up, it was a classic English day at the races, and i enjoyed it immensely.

The cold shoulder denim playsuit, whether dressed up or down, is the perfect summer’s day outfit. I love the way this outfit looks and feels!

Hoop earrings- Newlook

The wide legged jumpsuit. If you know anything about me fashion wise, you’d know i’m an avid lover of wide legged trousers or jumpsuits , they give me the early 70’s feel! They can be dressed down with some flat sandals for a casual look or dressed up with heels for an evening or night out. This is such a comfortable and stylish jumpsuit, perfect for days or nights when the weather is warm. Who says slender women should stay clear of vertical stripes? I like to break the rules!
Sunglasses- Dolce & Gabbana
Bag- Nica (TK Maxx)
Now this is more of a ‘painting the town red’ kind of outfit! Crop top, put together with a skater typed skirt. Don’t worry if you aren’t able to see the whole outfit, there is a video on my channel showcasing this and more.
Skirt- TK Maxx

I put a considerable amount of effort into my look books as i like to think they express my thoughts and moods, just my personality overall. It is also a lot of fun putting the outfits together, the best part is someone telling you how much they like your ensemble and also them wanting to achieve similar looks! It is indeed very satisfying.
Thought you might have liked to see more of my shoe collection (spring edition). I know we are way past spring but these shoes are definitely going to be transitioning into summer as well.
You might have noticed that i have quite a few playful and interesting footwear, it’s evident i’m a bit adventurous when it comes on to shoes. Some might not be the most comfortable, but us girls know how to make it work haha!
Have a watch and let me know what your thoughts are.
Do enjoy and thank you for watching.
