Glow on a bugdget-highlighting palettes

Hello friends, welcome back, it’s been about a week since i last blogged but sometimes we need to step away to reflect and gather our thoughts.

Ok so i’ve been playing around with different highlighters that are more on the affordable side, i’ve often times stressed that you don’t have to break the bank to look good, and in this case i’m speaking about makeup.

I picked these up a few months ago, so i can safely give my honest opinion on them. Let me start off with the LivBeauty Shine Bright palette, mind you i’m not familiar with this brand but i must say i have no regrets testing it out.

It has 6 shades, which are pretty much beige, rose and hints of champagne. This palette is perfect for light to medium skin tones, but also dark skin friendly. The beauty about highlighting palettes are that they double up as eyeshadows so if you think that some of the shades may not pop very much on your skin tone, no need to toss it to the side, just sweep them across your lids and you’re good to go.

So as you can see in this swatch, it can also work on dark skin tones. Beautiful shades that are very nicely pigmented and soft to the touch. Very travel friendly as well as it’s lightweight and easy to store.

This one from Revolution is my favourite! I think it suits my skin tone better as it has a very lovely warm golden shade that always seems to compliment any skin that is dark to deep dark.

Eight beautiful, pigmented, soft shades that range from gold, rose pinks, champagnes to beige. Now this palette is definitely suited for most if not all skin tones. The golden shade at the bottom right is the one i always gravitate towards, sometimes i like to mix it with the other shades. Another travel friendly palette.

I have not been able to put this palette down since i purchased it, Revolution has some amazing highlighters that are super affordable and are of great quality. I have another highlighting palette from Revolution as well that i also love.

All i can say is, these two palettes are truly winners, you get so much for a small price tag! I know a lot of people are big fans of the more high end ones but honestly these measure up in my opinion.

Do let me know what your favourite highlighters or highlighting palettes are and also if you’ve ever tried these before. Thanks for stopping by.

Bellapierre bronzer

Hey beautiful!

I love a good highlight especially for Summer, when the sun hits my skin it gives me a natural looking, healthy glow. Now one of my friends introduced me to this bronzer and i can honestly say it is giving me life! The golden, rich tones compliment my skin so well, it looks like i’ve been kissed by the sun. The shade i used is called Starshine.

This silky smooth mineral bronzer by Bellapierre is non comedogenic, talc and paraben free. Also suitable for sensitive and problem prone skin. An absolute must have for dark to deep skin tones.

The only hiccup about this bronzer is that it can get a bit messy as with all products that are loose. What i would suggest is to take up a small amount on a brush, tap off excess and build it up to your liking.

I am really loving this bronzer, i can’t seem to put it down. I sometimes use it as an eyeshadow, that’s one of the best parts about it, it’s multi purpose. If you think it won’t work for you as a bronzer, just sweep it onto your lids and inner tear ducts.

This bronzer is also available in different shades, so light to medium skin tones can get to experience the magic!

I give this bronzer a thumbs up. If you’ve tried it before let me know what you think about it. Thanks for stopping by.
