Hello gorgeous ones,
Take a peek at my Friday night makeup look, i kept the eyes neutral, using warmer tones and of course a pop of colour on the lips.
I might have mentioned a time or two my love for warmer tones. I think they compliment my skin tone a lot better than cooler tones, even though i’ve been told i look great in both, haha. Now this makeup look is perfect if you’re planning on having a night out with that special someone or even with the girls.
To start i prepped and primed my face making sure that i use a good primer that will ensure that my foundation last longer without getting oily throughout the night.
I then applied one of my favourite foundations which is the Estee Lauder double wear, this foundation which i’ve reviewed before, gives amazing coverage and stays in place for hours. If you have blemishes on your skin, it will cover them up, so you probably won’t need to spot conceal! I then did my usual highlight with LA Girls concealer in fawn, then set it with Sacha’s buttercup powder. For my contour i used Sleek’s kit in medium, i like to use a light hand when i highlight and contour. I set my entire face with Mac’s mineralise skin finish in dark deep.
For the eyes, i used Morphe 35N palette, this palette is all matte, neutral shades, so i’m always reaching for it. I used one of the brown shades to sweep into my crease area. I then used the shade squad goals from the Violet Voss Drenched Metal palette for my lids. These beautiful lashes i’m sporting are from De Prettilicious, great pack of lashes, as it’s very affordable and you get different types to choose from.
The lips are a combination of Milani’s lip cream in Obsession. I love the pigment but it’s very drying on the lips, so i added Sleek’s mystic to take away the dryness and to add a slight ombre effect.
Go on try this look!
Thanks for stopping by.
