Dress to impress…

I bought this gorgeous little number a few months ago. I kept thinking to myself, now where will i wear this? Low and behold i was invited to a wedding and thought, perfect moment to show this off.

Firstly, let’s just take a minute to appreciate the pattern and style of this dress! This lovely multi coloured dress from Boohoo is so classy, the slit at the side and the criss cross at the back screamed sexy yet sophisticated, why did i not get a shot of back?. Very comfortable, soft material that doesn’t stick to your skin. It was quite a warm day, so i wasn’t in the mood for wearing anything that was vaguely tight fitting. The length too was just right, all in all it suited my frame very well.

How i styled the dress

I pulled my hair into a side low bun, i didn’t want to do too much as the dress is the focal point. However this hairstyle was so fitting.

My makeup was subtle with a pop of pink on the lips.

Some long drop earrings which i bought last Spring from Asda (George). Wish i had given you a closer shot of them, sorry.

A blue clutch purse, which i purchased sometime ago from New Look.

Some perspex heels which i got from Public Desire.

Basically the look is complete, i felt like a princess all day and the compliments were none stop. It goes to show you that you can wear anything that’s inexpensive but style it to the point where it does look expensive and of course wear it with confidence.

I loved this look very much, head to toe affordable! Thanks for reading, let me know your thoughts.
